      Torrien Lau is Chief Executive of Focus ACT, a Canberra based disability service that has made the full transition from being bulk funded to a programme that is now entirely funded through people’s personal budgets

      IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

      Registration Costs for this event are as follows:

      • Two day attendance fee $250.00 + GST
      • One day attendance fee (Thursday only) $200.00 + GST
      • One day attendance fee (Friday only) $100 + GST

      Programme Content

      Part one July 19th 9am-3.30pm:  Planning for Transition

      An interactive and practical workshop with tools provided and an opportunity to start working doing things differently. The content will cover:

      • The intersection of governance, strategy and the role of the CEO
      • The alchemy of change - create a simple and effective change plan
      • Transformation and decision making

      There will be an opportunity to work on developing strategy, change plans and developing insights into decision making

      Part two July 20th 9.30- 12.30:   Digital Transformation

      • ICT Strategic planning and benchmark requirements
      • Data software demonstration – organisational requirements in a personalised funding environment (delivered by the software developers who have worked with Focus ACT)
