Description
This Hui was co-created in response to the collective and cohesive Call to Action at the Auckland Accessibility: Beyond Intention Summit in November. All groups at the summit were independently energised with the same call to action - the strong and common need for an online centralised hub of information and resources that support all the varied work Disability Providers do. On behalf of the Summit participants, the Summit Core Group, and the NZDSN Membership, we all welcome these three uniquely focused centralised hubs (Future Ready, Accessibility Maps, FIRSTPORT) who have so much to offer in the disability sector, making accessibility go beyond just the intention and straight into action that makes a difference. NZDSN has made this a national Hui to connect and support all the disability providers in our membership. We know this is something important when all groups come up with the same call to action. We look forward to seeing you – there will be opportunities for Q&A.
Accessibility: Presenters will be speaking and using power point presentations/screensharing in this Hui on Zoom. The Hui will be captioned and recorded.
