      Kia ora. We are Dr Katherine Ravenswood and Dr Julie Douglas. We are researchers in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at AUT.

      We would like to invite you to take part in our research on the impact of the 2017 Pay Equity Settlement on care and support workers and providers.

      This research aims to understand how the 2017 Pay Equity Settlement has impacted on managers and on healthcare assistants and support workers. This includes exploring challenges and advantages associated with the Settlement in residential aged care, home and community care and the disability sectors.

      Come and share your experiences with us. We are holding a focus group for care and support workers in community care and the disability sector in Auckland.

      Monday 5th November at 1.30pm

      Venue: AUT City Campus, Business Building – 42 Wakefield St, in room WF922

      If you are a care or support worker in home and community care or the disability sector and have approximately an hour to spare we’d like to invite you to take part in our research. You’ll also need to be proficient in spoken English.
