Workforce Development Collaboration Projects
Originally commissioned by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Development and Careerforce, NZDSN embarked on a series of four projects:
- The development of a Levels 2 to 4 Certificate in Disability Support
- The development of a Level 5 Diploma in Behavioural Support
- The design and delivery of a Leadership Programme focussed on the implementation of Enabling Good Lives, sub-contracted through Humanly
- The design and production of a series of training videos focussed on the implementation of Enabling Good Lives.
These projects are now complete.
We thank all those involved – the disabled people who gave of their time and portions of their lives, the families and support workers, and the providers who contributed to and led this work.
Final reports have been completed on each project. Qualifications initiative reports have been shared with Toitu te Waiora and Te Pukenga as appropriate and discussions are now focussed on implementation.
