What we know so far:
There has been a community case identified in Auckland.
This case has been infectious since Thursday last week.
We have 23 locations of interest around Auckland and Coromandel, and these will be updated on the Ministry of Health website as new places are identified.
The country is in Alert Level 4 as of 11:59pm tonight-17th of August, for 3 days.
Auckland and Coromandel are in Level 4 for the next 7 days from 11:59pm tonight.
It is not yet known if this is the Delta variant, and this will only be determined in the early hours of tomorrow morning-18th of August.
All COVID19 vaccinations have been halted for the next 48 hours.
What can we do?
It is important to ensure that disability support systems continue to be available.
Remain in your bubble.
If you do have to go out, wear a mask.
Above all else, stay calm and stay safe.
