SkillWise is a community organisation that works with adults who have learning disabilities to live full, connected, and meaningful lives, whether looking to develop new skills, build friendships, access community-based opportunities, support to manage an EGL Personal Budget or to receive job search advice and support. They work alongside each person to create a personal plan that aligns with their goals—connecting each person to services, opportunities, and experiences that support their journey. They also umbrella community arts organisation The White Room – arts studio based at the Climate Action Campus – all artists welcome (you don’t have to be part of SkillWise): https://www.thewhiteroom.org.nz/ for more info.

SkillWise holds contracts with MSD (Community Participation, Employment Support) and DSS (Flexible Funding – EGL PB funds host) and is an ACC Registered Vendor.

We work in the Christchurch area and surrounds (including parts of Selwyn and Waimakariri).
