As a kaupapa Māori organisation, Te Ahi Kaa is committed to supporting whānau from all backgrounds and strengthening communities through culturally grounded services, meaningful connections, and a focus on wellbeing.
Our mahi spans a diverse range of services, including Rongoā Māori, ACC Navigation, ACC Living My Life, peer support and abuse response for disabled adults (People For Us and DAPAR), elder abuse response (Tiaki Rangatira), suicide prevention (Kia Piki), and support for whānau affected by trauma and sexual abuse (ACC Haerenga Motuhake).
Alongside our service delivery, we are committed to community development, sharing mātauranga Māori, and fostering meaningful connections that empower whānau. Across all areas of our mahi, we strive to uphold the mana and dignity of those we support, working collaboratively to achieve positive, lasting outcomes for whānau and the communities we serve.
