Our Services

Provider Development Programme

A series of workshops and training events showcasing best/next practice and innovation. Two workstreams are tailored for leaders and direct service staff. The programme also includes communities of practice and leadership mentoring opportunities and informed by an analysis of NZDSN member needs.

NZDSN Annual Conference

The NZDSN Annual Conference attracts a wide variety of international and national keynote speakers and workstream presenters covering the latest developments and innovations within this sector.

Regional Networks

NZDSN supports a series of regional networking activities providing opportunities for information sharing which ensure providers are well connected across the regions.

Workforce Development

NZDSN contributes to and leads initiatives to develop and improve qualification pathways within the disability workforce as well as advocating for fairer remunerations.

Research and Quality Development Projects

These include things like the development of practice guidelines and policy research.

Membership Options

Full Organisational Membership (Voting)

Membership levels are calculated on the basis of an organisation’s level of revenue and members must be providers of disability support services.

Full membership enables participation in NZDSN business including:

  • board elections
  • involvement in working parties and reference groups
  • consultation on policy matters
  • discounted attendance at most NZDSN events including the NZDSN annual conference
  • regular NZDSN newsletters
  • all email alerts
  • latest information from government

All Membership applications require the approval of the NZDSN Board.

Associate Membership (Non-Voting)

Associate membership applies to interested organisations and individuals that are keen to be involved and support our work. Members must not be providers of disability support services

Associate membership benefits:

  • consultation on policy matters
  • discounted attendance at most NZDSN events including the NZDSN annual conference
  • regular NZDSN newsletters
  • all email alerts
  • latest information from government
