The Chief Executive of the New Zealand Disability Support Network (NZDSN) will lead an organisation committed to strengthening and advocating for the disability support sector in New Zealand. With 175 member organisations, NZDSN plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, promoting best practices, and influencing meaningful change in government policies affecting disabled people and their support networks.
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with the Board to shape and deliver strategic plans and operational excellence.
- Advocate for the interests of members and the broader disability support community.
- Build strong networks across the sector, government, and media to advance NZDSN’s objectives.
- Oversee the effective operation of the national office, ensuring financial sustainability, robust health and safety practices, and best-in-class service delivery to members.
- Lead initiatives to promote research, workforce development, and innovation in disability support.
